The 18th is probably going to be the best day of some 02536ers lives, and I am positive it is going to be one special little ladies all time greatest memory. Let’s break out a little timeline.

The special lady gets picked up early in the P-5 custom van, her man is surprising her, they are going to make an 02536 day of it, boy is she is in store for a treat. She cuddles up onto his swivel seat with him, her crimped hair rubbing back and forth on his jean jacket with the Journey patch on the back.

He starts singing softly:

“Hey-ey baby
You know the future’s lookin’ brighter
Every morning’ when i get up
Don’t be thinkin’ ’bout what’s not enough,now baby
Just be thinkin’ ’bout what we got

I’m gonna give you all I got

At this point they are nearing the end of Courier Road and she starts to realize where they are headed. How could she forget the Barnstable County Fair is going on in the 02536?

Her man wins her a stuffed blue frog by knocking over three 75 pound steel milk cartons with a .01 ounce softball and then they make spin art frisbees. Life just doesn’t get any better than this she thinks…

And then her man softly starts singing again:

“Got a surprise especially for you,
Something that both of us have always wanted to do.

Won’t you pack your bags, we’ll leave tonight,

NO WAY!!! she yells, she has figured out what is going on. It is a dream come true. That’s right folks, Saturday July 18th Eddie Freakin’ Money is going to be in the 02536 working the stage at the BCF!

Our 02536 couple is not only going to rock but they are also going to make at least one North Falmouth Family totally uncomfortable as they continually make out.

At this moment our little ho2536 grabs her man and starts herself singing this time:

“Take me home tonight
I don’t want to let you go till you see the light
Take me home tonight
Listen honey
Just like Ronnie sang
Be my little baby
Be my little baby”

And believe you me, he will, he will take her home EXACTLY like Ronnie sang. Long live the 02536!
