In light of March Madness starting soon, we at the go2536 thought it would make a great chance to have a contest. We are happy to announce the first annual Sweet 0253sixteen tournament. We have already made the bracket selections and seedings, just click the bracket on the left for a full size version to see the match ups.

This promises to be the biggest sports moment in the 02536 since the goat defeated Insane Tony 11-0 in one on one basketball. It is going to be a heated battle that will determine, for the next year at least, the most 02536 of them all.

Here is how it will work, we will have two games every night starting Thursday. Each match up will be presented with arguments about the merits of each competitor. Each game post will include a poll where readers can vote for the team that you think most represents the 02536 and what it is about. Voting for each game will be open for the 24 hour period leading up to the next round.

Anyone who wants to play can click here for a full size bracket (click on it to enlarge). You can either print it out, fill it out and scan and email it, fill it out in MS paint and email to us, or if you can’t do either of those just send us an email with your picks to info@go2536.com by 9 p.m Thursday.

The scoring will be 5 points for a victory in the first round and then 8, 13 and 21 points in the subsequent rounds. We will show an updated leaderboard after each nights games. The winner will get a free 02536 T-Shirt or hat of their choice. Good Luck all and Happy St. Patrick’s Day
