I hope this letter finds you happy and well J.  You have had so much on your plate lately that I’ve been a bit worried about you (not that I don’t worry about you daily.)  Although I’m certain you’re fine, as I know you’re a very strong woman, I nevertheless find myself longing to be near you to both love and protect you.–  It’s funny- like you, I’ve had my share of relationships although no woman has ever touched my heart and soul as deeply as you have mine.  Accordingly, I will always worry about you even when we’re together as I can not imagine life without you…

You have somehow, over a rather brief period of time, managed to capture my entire being.  I’m not certain when I fell in love with you but I unquestionably have; head over heals in love with you.  A love, that is in fact, unlike anything I ever imagined I could feel…  Your immersion into my life has even made me question if I have truly been in love with anyone before.  As for my conclusions:  No, I have never truly been in love before.  And, I’d have to say that most of my past romantic emotions have been idealized infatuation and physical attraction.  You on the other hand, my love, are the perfect balance I have always sought after yet never managed find until now.  And, not that you are merely a “sought after balance,” you have become a part of my soul- that of which extends beyond all worldly senses….

Well, this is the way I feel for you my love, and I have never felt this way before, nor will ever again.  I can therefore surmise that my past experiences have been nothing more than confusion regarding my desires of a spouse.  As such, you are (and always will be) more than my spouse- you are my soul mate, and I therefore commit my life to you and the love we share together.  And, due to the depth of my love for you, you have become my responsibility and my motivation.

As long as I’m alive in this world, I will always be there to pick you up when you fall, and will always be there to dry off your tears when you cry.  And, I  will always be there for you because (in the eyes of God) you are the only true Mrs. XXX I will ever have..  For better or for worse, and with all unforeseen consequence, I promise to honor my solemn vows to you, as of now, that will be consecrated  May 1st  2009.
